Everyone participating in the DFL deserves an environment where they can engage without harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or other harmful conduct prohibited by the Code. If you believe you have experienced a violation, the Party has a formal reporting process.
The 2026–2027 Official Call states that a DFLer who believes they experienced a violation may report an appointed or elected DFL leader or Party volunteer. The adopted Rules of Procedure use narrower language concerning respondents. The committee evaluates jurisdiction under the governing documents; contact State DFL Party Affairs if you are unsure which process applies.
Names of the people involved, if known.
Approximate date, time, and location.
A specific description of what occurred and why you believe it violated the Code.
Witness names and available contact information.
Relevant emails, messages, documents, photographs, or other records.
The remedy or outcome you request, as required by Rule 6(a).
You do not need to know every detail. Mark unavailable information as unknown. Describe events accurately and distinguish what you observed from what someone else told you.

After your report is received and processed, you may be asked for additional information or informed about next steps.
Call 651-293-1200 or 1-800-999-7457. Ask Party Affairs about accessible formats, interpretation, or assistance.
If you are in immediate danger or there is a threat of violence, contact emergency services or appropriate law enforcement first. This process does not replace emergency response or other available legal protections. Once safe, you may submit a report through the established process.
Submitting a report begins a review; it does not establish that a violation occurred. The committee reviews jurisdiction, information, and appropriate next steps. See How the Process Works.
This website does not collect reports. Use the official reporting channels. Do not post case materials in public comments, public folders, or social media. Reports may be provided to the respondent and other authorized recipients under the rules.
